Raised radishes round and red,
Rhubarb and rutabagas
On his rural rolling ranch

Round and round the radishes
Raced rabbits running rampant
Raleigh ran right after
Raging a roaring rant 'n rave

Raleigh requested Red the Retriever,
"Rush those racing rabbits!"
To rid his radiant radish field
Of hare-racing ruts from rabbit riots

The reticent retriever,
Recumbent and reposed, refused
Raleigh's request quite readily
And Raleigh's resolve renewed

Rendering reflexes rapidly
Raleigh rightly rushed the rabbits
Releasing eruptive, riotous roars
Rabbits, remarkably, retreated!

Raleigh Robertson rejoiced, then
Returned to rabbit-free radishes
Rhubarb and rutabagas
